Using MATSim, this project develops an agent-based simulation to evaluate the impact of micromobility, including automation and digitalization, on transport demand in the Vienna metropolitan area and the VOR region. In particular, the system level impact of automated solutions and to the location of mobility hubs to the current public transport systems, emissions and energy used are explored.
